Dematic Corporation is an international leader in warehousing logistics hardware and software, with clients like Amazon, Pepsico and Frito Lay and installations all over the World. Dematic’s flagship mobile software program needed to be brought up-to-date with the new look and feel of the desktop software, while taking advantage of new mobile technologies and high-resolution displays.

The resulting design started with a fresh set of wireframes taking into consideration how the application would be used and the unique mobile workflow. Then a brand new icon set was developed merging the new almost-flat icon system on the desktop software with a completely flat look for mobile. Icons in common with the desktop needed to be clearly tied-in, so all of the icons were drawn from scratch, then optimized and exported for standard and retina displays as well as iOS and Android.
